The presence of the Winnipeg Jets in town this week has rekindled trade rumors regarding their forward Pierre-Luc Dubois. Many have their opinion and especially their suggestions...

On Tuesday night, during the JiC show on TVA Sports, the debate on this subject became heated. The host and Tony Marinaro were at opposite ends of the spectrum regarding Dubois' arrival in Montreal.

Lajoie would agree to send the CH's first round pick, which should be around the 6th overall, to Winnipeg for the Quebecer's services. Marinaro, on the other hand, is totally against this idea:

"No, I'm not giving the pick away. I don't want to trade a 6th pick for him" - Tony Marinaro

This Thursday, one internet user proposed a mega trade to acquire Dubois, and it's sure to get a big reaction. In addition to Josh Anderson, he proposes to offer prospect Joshua Roy and a second-round pick.

The idea behind this proposal, according to the Internet user, is to avoid a mistake made by Marc Bergevin regarding Ryan Poehling. He wants to take advantage of Roy's current high value and not risk him falling apart in the next few years.

"Anyway, my ulterior motive with that tweet was to say that Roy could certainly be trade bait and I would sell high.

I don't want to make the Poehling mistake again."

Roy had been a fan-favorite prospect for a while, and his strong performance at the last World Junior Championships will have amplified that. Trading him could hurt a lot on the hockey front (if he develops well), but also on the PR side. Kent Hughes would have a decision to make here, if the opportunity arises!
