Hockey fans should be able to do whatever they want, after all, they are the ones paying exorbitant amounts of money to attend games. However, throwing jerseys on the ice never makes sense.
On many occasions over the past few years we have seen fans so frustrated with their teams' performance that they have done this. We can understand when the team in question has disastrous games, but when it has been successful for almost five years, it is quite incomprehensible.
That's what happened Saturday afternoon in Calgary when a Tampa Bay Lightning fan got tired of seeing his team play badly and threw his jersey on the ice...
When you know that this team made it to the Stanley Cup finals the last three times, it's quite unusual to see this kind of gesture. It's as if this fan doesn't know how lucky he is to be cheering for a winning team!
Imagine again, Tampa Bay has a 29-15-1 record good for 8th overall in the league as of Sunday and that's not good enough for this fan. I wouldn't want to see him in the shoes of a CH, Chicago Blackhawks, Buffalo Sabres or even worse, Toronto Maple Leafs fan...
