Montreal Canadiens prospects Kaiden Guhle, selected in the first round in 2020, and Joshua Roy, selected in the fifth round in 2021, will attend the Canadian Under-20 Team selection camp.
35 players will attend the camp, including 21 forwards, 11 defensemen and three goaltenders. The camp will be held in Calgary from December 9 to 12.
The overly popular annual tournament will be held in Edmonton and Red Deer between December 26, 2021 and January 5, 2022.
Guhle, who turns 20 in January, has 15 points in 17 games so far with the Prince Albert Raiders. The Shea Weber-like young man could end up with the "C" on his jersey.
In Roy's case, he is producing at a tremendous pace with the Sherbrooke Phoenix, with 39 points, including 14 goals, in 21 games. He is ranked first in the QMJHL in scoring.
If all goes according to plan, we should see these two Canadiens prospects put on Canada's red uniform next December.
