Juraj Slafkovsky's usage is causing a stir among Montreal Canadiens fans because of his ice time.
The 18-year-old rookie is averaging 12 minutes per game on both the third and fourth lines.
During his appearance on 98.5 FM, Kent Hughes' special advisor, Vincent Lecavalier, gave his opinion on the Slovakian.
Does he belong in Montreal? Here is Vinny's answer:
"I think so. You see players at 18 sometimes who are not there physically. And he's there! He has to build his confidence." - Vincent Lecavalier
Slaffy and the other young players are well surrounded in Montreal:
"The kids are lucky! I know how Martin talks to them. He's very fair, he understands the guys. He took me to another level. I thought I knew the game until I talked to Martin" -Vincent Lecavalier
So it would be very surprising to see Slafkovsky return to Laval this season, he will most likely stay with the Canadiens.
