As my colleague Alex Desrosiers (Rumeursdetransaction.com) reports, for those who want to learn about the players the Montreal Canadiens could possibly draft in a few weeks, there are several extremely interesting tools.
In particular, to see a simulation of the 2022 draft, a few hours before the 2022 lottery, there is the website mynhldraft.com, which offers us its famous Mock Draft.
A comprehensive prediction and consulted by many observers and fans. (There is also the tankathon.com site, which is very popular)
In this case, according to their simulation, Shane Wright would be drafted first overall by Montreal, followed by Simon Nemec (Arizona), Juraj Slafkovsky (Seattle), Logan Cooley (Philadelphia), David Jiricek (New Jersey).
For the New Jersey pick, let's recall the big news of the day, he could be traded.
See the full first round result, as well as the Montreal Canadiens' other pick, on the next page.

Of course, for what it's worth, we thought it would be interesting to do the exercise.
Would you be satisfied with these picks from the Habs? Personally, with the 27th pick overall, I'd go with Tristan Luneau (or I'd really try to move up for Brad Lambert).
