The plan was clear when Joshua Roy joined the Laval Rocket a few days ago. The goal was for him to grow from his experience with the club and learn as much as possible.
However, things seem to be changing for the young man as injuries in the organization are opening a nice big door for him. As Anthony Marcotte mentioned on Tuesday morning, Roy is not only in the regular lineup, but he is training on a regular trio with Joel Teasdale and Cedric Paquette.
Solid! This is a great surprise for him and for thefans hoping to see him in uniform. We didn't expect it, but it really seems to be going in that direction.
This is one to watch very closely.
Joshua could get some big news tomorrow, if J-F Houle confirms his entry, into the Rocket lineup, for the next game.
A lot can still happen between now and when the puck hits the ice at Place Bell on Wednesday night, but let's just say that the chances of Roy playing his first professional game are pretty good.
