We just learned that Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin are preparing a big surprise for you
The rivalry between Alex Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby is well known. For nearly 18 years, the two stars have been compared at every level, both for their individual achievements and for their leadership.
You would think that the two players would not like each other after playing against each other for so many years, but that is not the case. There seems to be a common respect and Ovechkin showed it again this Thursday during his appearance in front of the media during the NHL All-Star weekend. The latter even launched a very interesting retort:
"When me and him retire, we're going to have a few beers together." - Alex Ovechkin
According to what NHL.com's Tom Gulutti reports, fans will have to strap on their toques this weekend, as the two stars are reportedly even planning a nice surprise for them.
While we don't know much about what's going on, we can assume that it will be spectacular. Knowing how Ovechkin can be at these events, we can't wait for it to start!
