Kyle Beach, who used to go by the name "John Doe", is the player who was involved in the Brad Aldrich case.
The latter just revealed his identity in an interview on the TSN network.
Selected 11th overall in the 2008 draft by the Chicago Blackhawks, Beach is a right-handed left winger who spent no less than six seasons in the Hawks organization, playing primarily with the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
Now 31 years old, Beach never had the chance to play a game in the National Hockey League. He ended his professional playing career after the 2019-20 season, which he played in Slovakia.
Recall that according to reports, Beach was sexually abused by Aldrich at Aldrich's home during the 2010 playoffs.
The unveiling of Beach's identity quickly caused a huge wave of sympathy on social media and many analysts and fans gave their support to the latter via Twitter.
