There are some interesting developments in the Jakob Chychrun derby, as David Pagnotta has just released a big update.
According to his informations, discussions to conclude a trade between the Kings and the Coyotes, including Chychrun, have intensified considerably over the past few hours. It stirs.
Pagnotta adds that the chances of Chychrun being traded to Los Angeles are "strong" and that one of the youngsters involved would be young center Gabriel Vilardi.
This will certainly be a file to follow closely over the next few hours, but Rob Blake, Luc Robitaille and Marc Bergevin could strike a very big deal.
The Coyotes want three solid prospects for Chychrun, and the Kings have plenty of them!
Vilardi, 22, is a 6-foot-3 center, drafted 11th overall in 2017, having scored a solid 32 points in 30 games (15 goals) this season in the AHL. He has 31 points and 14 career NHL goals so far.
