Notably, the Minnesota Wild, who count on the services of two excellent goaltenders: Marc-Andre Fleury and Cam Talbot.
For their game #1 of the playoffs, Fleury was sent into the fray and he allowed four goals on 31 shots in a 4-0 loss.
Tonight, the Wild and the St-Louis Blues play game two of their series and the verdict is in on the starting goalie.
It's Marc-Andre Fleury again who will be in net tonight. I'm really happy for him, he finally seems to have the full confidence of a club and it's well deserved!
Remember that at the slightest slip, in Pittsburgh and in Las Vegas, he was left out. Now Minnesota is putting him back in the fray.
Fleury, 37, has a 9-2-0 record in Minnesota this season, a goals-against-average of 2.74 and a 0.910% save percentage. He was acquired at the trade deadline from Chicago for a conditional first round pick.
Talbot, 34, has a 32-12-4 record in Minnesota this season with a goals-against-average of 2.76 and a 0.911% save percentage.
