The Montreal Canadiens' young defensive prospect, Lane Hutson, was in the news again this weekend.
Playing with Boston University, Hutson had four assists in two games this weekend and surpassed Quebec's Alexandre Legault (30 points in 43 games in 1989-90) for the most points in his rookie season by a defenseman in the NCAA.
Hutson has 31 points in 24 games so far.
Barring any surprises, Hutson will not sign with the Habs this summer and will play one more season in Boston.
