Today, I wanted to talk about Cole Caufield in a slightly different way.

As you know, last season, there were some stories that made headlines regarding Caufield and Montreal bars, especially after a certain article published by Réjean Tremblay.

However, that's not at all the direction I want to take today, quite the opposite.

A few days ago, I saw a photo of Cole Caufield and a fan, taken in a bar, and I obviously didn't mention it because there was absolutely nothing there.

But in the end, I decided to talk about it today because I think it's important to highlight.

Bravo to Cole Caufield

It was while listening to the podcast Stanley25, with Jean Trudel and Maxime Truman, that I got the idea to talk about it in a positive light.

I think it's great that Cole Caufield agreed to take such a photo.

Despite what happened last year, and despite the fact that the vast majority of NHL players categorically refuse to take photos in a bar, Caufield agreed to do it, and with the biggest smile too.

I really think that sends a great message.

If we consider the way he responds to journalists since Réjean Tremblay's article, it's clear that Caufield is aware of what's being said about him.

Despite all that, he accepted to take this photo, in a bar, with his biggest smile, and I think that says a lot about him.

Several players should learn from this, especially to realize that there's absolutely nothing wrong with being in a bar and taking photos to please the fans.

Hats off, Cole Caufield!
