Canadiens Players Threw a Halloween Party Last Night, and the Photos Are Priceless
It's a day off today for the Montreal Canadiens, a decision that has sparked some reactions among fans and analysts.
Many observers were not too happy to hear that everyone would be getting a day off, less than 48 hours after the embarrassing defeat against the New York Rangers.
Of course, days off are necessary, and no one is questioning that, but it's mainly the timing of this one that didn't sit well with everyone.

Thanks to some players' spouses, like Emma Fortin (Brendan Gallagher's wife), we learned that, indeed, the players held their traditional Halloween party last night.
So, it's easy to imagine they wouldn't have been in great shape for a tough practice today.

In short, everyone in the organization has the day off today, and the players will report to Brossard tomorrow morning to get back to work, especially in preparation for Saturday's game against the St. Louis Blues.
