A new young goaltender has just joined the Montreal Canadiens organization.

It seems that the Habs organization isn't afraid of having tremendous depth in the goaltender position.

We already have Samuel Montembeault and Cayden Primeau in the NHL, and Jakub Dobes, Connor Hughes, and Hunter Jones in the AHL with the Laval Rocket, and now another name has just been added!

Goaltender Luke Cavallin signs with the Montreal Canadiens organization and the Laval Rocket

It's curious, and one might wonder if another announcement regarding goaltenders within the organization is on the way.

Luke Cavallin, 23 years old, is a 6'1", 196-pound goaltender. He was with the Toronto Maple Leafs organization, playing nine games for their AHL affiliate last season.

He's just starting his rise.

He was the number one goalie for the Flint Firebirds (OHL) for four full seasons. In his last campaign, he maintained a 0.910 save percentage with a goals-against average of 3.16 (with 36 wins, 14 losses, and 4 overtime losses).

Welcome to the Montreal Canadiens organization, Luke!
