As we enter the third day of the Canadiens' rookie camp, a few interesting individuals addressed the media.
Yes, hockey is in the air! We saw more action in Brossard today.
Among those who faced the reporters were Emil Heineman, Luke Tuch, Florian Xhekaj, Sean Farrell, and of course, Pascal Vincent.
The coach specifically mentioned the criteria the management will use to determine which players will or will not make the team this season.
Vincent, an excellent communicator, also added that he mainly wants to work with the players' strengths.
A physical player should bring their own flavor, an offensive player needs to find a way to stand out, and a defensive player must demonstrate reliability, and so on.
He also mentioned that this week, he is paying close attention to the players' quickness during practices.
Pascal Vincent also answered several questions regarding forward Sean Farrell, who seems to be having a strong start to the camp.
We can't wait to see how that plays out against the Toronto Maple Leafs' prospects.
Sean Farrell, 22 years old, is a 5-foot-9, 175-pound forward who was drafted 124th overall in 2020 by the Canadiens.
He put up an impressive 53 points in 34 games in the NCAA in 2022-23, and 28 points in 47 games with the Laval Rocket (AHL) last season.
A name to remember!
