We officially have a verdict for Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens, and it does not align with Daniel Brière and the Philadelphia Flyers.
As we saw yesterday, Michkov arrived on American soil and will play with the Flyers this upcoming season.
According to what SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg just mentioned, Ivan Demidov will play in the KHL for the 2024-25 season.
This means that, unlike Daniel Brière and the Flyers with Matvei Michkov, Kent Hughes has not managed to bring Ivan Demidov to North America this season. (Which is far from a big deal, by the way.)
We will simply have to be a bit more patient before seeing Ivan Demidov don the Canadiens uniform.
