We have some news to report to you regarding your Montreal Canadiens, live from Anaheim.

The team hit the ice in the last few minutes in preparation for tomorrow's game at 4:00 PM against the Anaheim Ducks, and we received a few announcements from the Habs during this session.

Logan Mailloux and Owen Beck are arriving as reinforcements.

This could explain the situation, but just minutes after these call-ups, the Canadiens announced three pieces of bad news.

Defensemen David Savard and Alexandre Carrier, along with forward Jake Evans, are dealing with discomfort or minor injuries and are unable to practice today.

«Alexandre Carrier, Jake Evans, and David Savard will not participate in today's practice (treatment day).»

Montreal Canadiens

A press conference with head coach Martin St-Louis has been announced and should take place shortly, so we will have more information about the statuses of Carrier, Evans, and Savard at that time.

If any of these players are forced to miss tomorrow's game, Beck and Mailloux will be ready.

Three players absent today for the Canadiens

These are situations to monitor, but it confirms what many players have been saying for the past few days.. The long break for the Four Nations Faceoff will be beneficial!

Knowing that Kaiden Guhle's season season is likely over, Carrier and Savard will be extremely valuable for Martin St-Louis in the coming weeks.

More details to follow.
