Speaking of Matheson, the 30-year-old defenseman acquired in the Jeff Petry trade is having another superb season with the Canadiens.

He has amassed an impressive 47 points in 68 games (9 goals), ranking third among the top scorers for the Montreal Canadiens.

For a second consecutive season, he is producing at a rate of nearly 60 points per season. What an addition he has been anyway!
