WOW: Juraj Slafkovsky was filmed making a special gesture on the giant screen before the game

Wow. This gesture speaks volumes.
For those who believe Sean Monahan has been forgotten by the Montreal Canadiens, think again.
Last night at the Bell Centre, before the game against the Washington Capitals, the young forward Juraj Slafkovsky made a special gesture for his former teammate and friend.
And it was filmed on the giant screen.
"Slaf continues the pre-game handshake with Sean Monahan even though Sean Monahan isn't here." - Arpon Basu
So, Slaf continues his little tradition he had with Monahan, even if he now has to do it in the air because Monahan is no longer there. We love it.

It will be interesting to see if Kent Hughes will be able to bring Monahan back to Montreal this summer through the free agency market.
The players, obviously including Slaf, would welcome it! (and so would we)
The veteran indeed scored his very first goal with the Winnipeg Jets last night:
