Roy confirms his star player got injured in the game vs the Habs

At a press conference, the head coach of the New York Islanders, Patrick Roy, announced some very bad news involving Noah Dobson.

Their game against the Montreal Canadiens left some serious consequences, and it's really sad for Patrick Roy and his team, but Noah Dobson is injured.

A worrying injury for Noah Dobson, at the worst possible time!

At the worst time, they indeed lose their best defenseman and possibly their best player.

Already, the Islanders do not have the most talented team on paper, and the loss of Dobson is a significant one.

We sincerely hope he can return quickly, but it wasn't long before the Islanders announced he is "OUT", which is normally never positive.

A case to follow, and let's hope for good news, as the Islanders should officially qualify for the playoffs as early as today.

Dobson, 24 years old, 12th overall pick in 2018 (1st round), is a right-handed defenseman who has accumulated an incredible 70 points in 79 games this season.

He had collected 49 points in 78 games last season.
