A defeat that most likely means that Sidney Crosby's team will incredibly miss the playoffs this season.
It is undoubtedly a huge failure for them, and several journalists (especially in Pittsburgh) are convinced that their general manager, Ron Hextall, will be fired.
It seems inevitable, especially considering that Penguins fans are massively calling for his departure.
If we go back to what JiC said this morning on BPM Sports radio, he speculated on Hextall's potential replacement as the new general manager of the Pittsburgh Penguins, and one name seems extremely logical.
That of Marc Bergevin. It has just been mentioned on air.
In his morning editorial and in an interview with Philippe Boucher (who knows the organization well), they speculated on the possible hiring of Marc Bergevin as the new general manager of the Penguins.
It's an interesting idea that's gaining momentum right now.
Would you like to see it happen? Do you think Bergevin would be a good GM for the Penguins? Do you believe in Marc Bergevin's big comeback as general manager?
It should be noted that the former Canadiens general manager, Bergevin, has been in the Pittsburgh organization three (!) times.
