Violent brawl breaks out between fans at the end of the Habs vs Oilers game

After the game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Edmonton Oilers, a brawl between fans emerged. Continue reading to watch the full video!

The Canadiens proved once again that they can compete with top teams. Even if they ended up losing 3-2 in overtime, they put on a good show.

The game could've ended the other way, but the Leon Draisaitl capitalized at the end of a four-minute powerplay. With that goal, he joined Wayne Gretzky at the third rank for most game-winning goals in Edmonton (61).

After the game, we witnessed an incident between fans.

A few angry Oilers fans started to hit each other, and fought for a few seconds before walking away as members of the security approached.

We don't often see fans from the same team fight with each other, especially after a win. However, it's alway troubling when it happens. Hockey is a game and violence is never an appropriate response.

It's not because Michael Pezzetta and Sam Carrick dropped the gloves in the game that fans can do the same outside the ice.
