The whole thing was done in the form of a poll, and the responses are quite surprising.
First, take a look at the trade proposal in question :
Verdict : 49% of the fans responded that they consider this to be a realistic trade for both sides, or that the Habs would refuse the trade.
Wow.
Honestly, we love Jordan Harris, but with all due respect, this trade offer doesn't make any sense.
Despite not playing up to the level of a first overall pick, Lafrenière has a significantly higher value than Jordan Harris, although that doesn't take anything away from the latter.
The fact that 28% of respondents think the Habs would refuse the trade is hard to understand.
We are 100% convinced that it's the New York Rangers who would refuse this proposal.
See the tweet :
Lafrenière, 21 years old, has collected 91 points (47 goals) in 216 career NHL games, including 16 goals and 39 points this season.
Harris, 22 years old, has amassed 18 points (5 goals) in 75 career NHL games, including 4 goals and 17 points this season.
