Big surprise for the Montreal Canadiens today and it could change many things

Today, we were treated to a big surprise at the start of the Montreal Canadiens' practice.
Joel Edmundson practiced with his teammates!
With the trade deadline just a few days away, and hours after Jake McCabe was traded for a first round pick (and more), this is major.
If that was the only news, it would be a simple surprise, but why talk about a big surprise here?
See for yourself:
Edmundson is wearing a regular jersey and may already be receiving contact.
This is a huge progression in his return to play and we love it!
Joel Edmundson is the first player to jump on the ice for the Habs practice in San Jose.

That's not all, there's more!
In a press briefing in the last few minutes, Montreal Canadiens head coach Martin St-Louis had this to say.
"There's a chance Edmundson will play tomorrow, but it's not guaranteed."
He could possibly return to the game tomorrow! It's a big turnaround and we love it!
Edmundson's return to action could change a lot of things for general manager Kent Hughes, with the deadline just a few days away.
