Breaking: two players have been placed on NHL waivers including a surprise
During the last few seconds, we learned that two players have been placed on NHL waivers including a surprise.
Firstly, goaltender Michael Hutchinson, who signed with the Detroit Red Wings just 10 days ago, is already being sent to waivers.
Hutchinson, 33 years old, was excellent in his only game with the Wings this season, allowing 3 goals on 39 shots in a game where his team was completely dominated.
A first-round NHL draft pick on waivers, Tyson Jost
Secondly, the 10th overall pick of the 2016 NHL Draft (1st round) Tyson Jost has indeed been placed on waivers by the Buffalo Sabres.
Jost, 25 years old, has accumulated 26 points, including 9 goals, with the Sabres. In his NHL career, he has 138 points (56 goals) in 442 games.
He hasn't played in the AHL for nearly five years.
More details will follow.
They will know their next destination tomorrow at 2 PM.
