Surprise offer sheet to Evan Bouchard by the Montreal Canadiens: the renowned Frank Seravalli has just made a major statement

Over the past few months, and since the trade of Tyson Barrie, Bouchard has shown that he has the potential to establish himself as one of the top quarterbacks in the entire NHL to lead a power play.

As part of the latest episode of his podcast DFO Rundown, the informer Frank Seravalli dropped a major statement.

Seravalli and Jason Gregor, an Edmonton Oilers expert journalist, seriously discussed the possibility of an offer sheet made to Bouchard by Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens.

Seravalli pointed out that the Canadiens would really be a logical team for this hostile offer, given their financial resources, their need for a right-handed defenseman, and Bouchard's potential to improve their power play.

We must admit that the fit indeed makes a lot of sense, but we'll believe it when we see it.

Bouchard, 23 years old, is a 6-foot-3, 195-pound defenseman. He scored 40 points (8 goals) in 82 games this season, but an incredible 17 points in just 12 playoff games.
