Here's a monster trade that absolutely no one saw coming in the NHL.
The Philadelphia Flyers have just traded their 5th overall pick from 2022, Cutter Gauthier, to the Anaheim Ducks.
He was drafted a few spots behind Juraj Slafkovsky, and just one spot behind Shane Wright.
In exchange, Philly receives defenseman Jamie Drysdale, a 6th overall pick in 2020, and a second-round pick.
TRADE: We have acquired left wing Cutter Gauthier from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for defenseman Jamie Drysdale and a second-round selection in the 2025 NHL Draft.
