Trade Market: Kent Hughes Just Confirmed a Huge Rumor
Since the major trade, concluded between three teams including the Philadelphia Flyers earlier this week, several rumors are circulating that the NHL trade market has really been heating up behind the scenes.
Some sources have reported that the general managers have been intensely back to negotiating in an attempt to conclude trades, and the question was just posed to GM Kent Hughes in a press conference.
He confirmed it all.
"Yes, there's a lot of trade talks. All teams are discussing it (for trades) and us (Montreal Canadiens) too. We're preparing, you never know when something can happen. We have to do our homework."
So there are indeed a lot of trade talks currently in the National Hockey League, and the Habs are involved.
This promises for the coming days and weeks.
