Interesting!

In the last few minutes, the topic of the possible trade of Jake Allen by the Montreal Canadiens has been discussed on the official NHL network's airwaves.

The file is advanced!

Teams Call Kent Hughes for Jake Allen

It's the renowned David Pagnotta who confirms that rumors involving Allen have been seriously intensifying for a few hours.

The names of the Carolina Hurricanes (fittingly) and the New Jersey Devils have been mentioned by Pagnotta, in addition to the Edmonton Oilers and the Las Vegas Golden Knights.

We love it! There seems to be massive interest, and therefore, the price goes up, especially if teams outbid each other to acquire Allen.

Let's remember that the Devils, the Oilers, and the Hurricanes have recently sent goalies to the AHL. Clearly, they want reinforcements.

"It's definitely intensifying, and just before the Holiday break, there was a lot of chatter. [...] These teams want to know the price to acquire this goalie, who is signed for an additional season, to bring him in as a 1B goalie with experience. He will generate even more interest in the coming days. [...]

He is not the only Hab generating interest in the trade market. There's also David Savard" - Pagnotta

Interesting!

They also mention that they expect Allen to have a new opportunity elsewhere in the NHL.

So, it's getting serious and will certainly be a file to follow!

Young players like Alexander Holtz and Xavier Bourgault could be targeted by these interested organizations (with the addition of the CH, of course).
