Anaheim reveals the 2 Habs players they would want in exchange for Zegras
The name Trevor Zegras has been linked to Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens for a while, but now concrete names are starting to emerge.
It's all well and good to want Zegras, I would also like to have him in Montreal, but the Anaheim Ducks are not going to simply give him away. Obviously.
We are talking about a young NHL star player here, who is extremely talented and already has two seasons with over 60 points to his name.

According to journalist Arpon Basu, on BPM Sports yesterday, the Anaheim Ducks are indeed asking for Kaiden Guhle or David Reinbacher as the basis of a transaction in exchange for Trevor Zegras.
Ouch. We better understand why some journalists mentioned last night that Kent Hughes may not be ready to pay the price to acquire Zegras.
Ideally, the Canadiens' general manager would be able to build an interesting offer involving, for example, Jayden Struble + a late first-round pick and a prospect like Owen Beck, but it remains to be seen if that would interest Pat Verbeek.
It all depends on his opinion of the Canadiens' prospects.

I would not trade Guhle or Reinbacher for Zegras, even though I really like the young American forward's talent. What about you?
