We learned some interesting information earlier today regarding Kent Hughes, the Montreal Canadiens, and the trade market.

According to information from Maxime Truman, Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton are currently shopping for a tough third or fourth-line forward.

Obviously, they'll be looking for one at the right price.

We have thus brought up the name of Nicolas Deslauriers, who doesn't seem to be part of the Philadelphia Flyers' plans anymore.

However, another name has just surfaced.

Mathieu Olivier as a potential acquisition for Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens?

He would indeed be an excellent fit on Martin St-Louis' bottom six.

It's good to see that Jeff Gorton and Kent Hughes want to add toughness to their roster. Clearly, they are tired of seeing their talented young players get roughed up and hit questionably.

More details to follow.
