We are now less than a month away from the trade deadline, and the Vancouver Canucks have set the tone for the trading period with the acquisition of Elias Lindholm from the Calgary Flames.

They will be taken very seriously ahead of the playoffs, and it is highly likely that the team's general manager, Patrik Allvin, will want to add more reinforcements by March 8th.

That said, as reported by the website Habsolumentfan.com, some Canucks fans have expressed their desires ahead of the deadline and among the team's most pressing needs, a player from the Canadiens could be a target to consider.

According to the website Canucks Army, forward Michael Pezzetta could fill an immediate need for the Canucks, as the team lacks a bit of toughness.

This season, the CH's number 55 has collected 10 points in 42 games, which is quite respectable for a fourth-line player, but he benefits a lot from the fact that there are many injured players on the Canadiens this season.

But what is interesting here is that the website in question suggests that the Canucks give up a fourth-round pick for Pezzetta's services.

Considering he was a sixth-round pick in 20216, this represents very good value for the CH's grinder. It is likely that Kent Hughes might consider trading him eventually, as I doubt that Pezzetta is part of the organization's long-term plans.
