Major last-minute announcement from Connor Bedard about the possibility of playing with the Blackhawks next season
The phenomenon Connor Bedard is remarkable for several reasons.
Obviously, he is an extremely talented player, but there is much more to him.
His attitude is truly impressive. He is an incredibly humble player, maybe even too much according to some, and he continues to prove that despite all the talk about him, he remains grounded.
In a recent interview, see what he said about being in the Chicago Blackhawks lineup to start the next season.
In fact, he was asked about playing his first career game against Sidney Crosby (his idol) and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Here's his response:
"I have to start by making the team."
While he could easily assume that he'll be in the starting lineup from the first game of the next season, like 99.9% of experts would, he doesn't. In his mind, he has to show up to camp and earn his spot.
He remains humble and doesn't skip steps. It's truly impressive.
This promises to be exciting!
