Prison: Judge makes major initial decision for the person who caused the death of Johnny Gaudreau
Sean Higgins, the one who caused the death of Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Gaudreau, will remain in prison.
He seemed frustrated about having to stay incarcerated until today, and now the judge has decided that Higgins will remain in prison, at least until next September 13.

Sean Higgins the alleged Drunk driver in the Gaudreau Brother homicide will remain in jail until his next hearing on September 13th in order for his attorneys and the courts to file additional documents. He was represented by NJ Public Defenders office but plans on having his own attorney for the next hearing. @ONNJSports
For the time being, he faces charges of driving causing death. He also admitted to drinking 5 to 6 beers before the accident.
You can imagine that this case is receiving massive media attention, and it will be interesting to follow its developments as there is significant social pressure at the moment.
Criminal lawyer Me Rancourt suggested that charges of criminal negligence could be added, with sentences that could go up to life imprisonment if Higgins is found guilty.
