There has just been a development regarding young Florida Panthers goalie Spencer Knight.
According to what reputable David Pagnotta reports, Knight is leaving the Panthers organization on an indefinite basis.
He is entering the NHL and NHLPA player assistance program.
More details to come.
"Spencer Knight has been placed in the NHL/NHLPA player assistance program. This likely means his season is over.
Whatever trouble Spencer is in, let's hope he gets the help he needs to get better."

Kudos to him for having the courage to go for help.
Knight is only 21 years old.
