On Friday night, the hockey world was buzzing as a mega trade took place between the Florida Panthers and the Calgary Flames. This move saw Matthew Tkachuk with a 4th round pick in 2025 go to Florida in exchange for Jonathan Huberdeau, MacKenzie Weegar, Cole Schwindt and a 1st round pick in 2025.
This transaction surprised many, not many people had anticipated this personnel move. Few people except one, as a Florida Panthers fan on Twitter named Flying Fluffy predicted the deal almost perfectly, two days before it happened.
The only difference is the 4th round pick that goes to Florida and Cole Schwindt. Instead of the latter, the fan simply mentioned that a prospect from the organization could be added to Huberdeau, Weegar and the 1st round pick.
