Further proof that the Panthers have emptied themselves and it's paying off for the Canadiens, the Flyers and the Flames

Reactions are numerous on social networks since the announcement of the huge transaction between the Florida Panthers and the Calgary Flames.
According to the majority of observers and fans, the Flames would be the big winners of this trade
On the other hand, if we look at Panthers GM Bill Zito's track record over the last few months, it's not particularly good.
As my colleague Alex Desrosiers reports, to acquire Matthew Tkachuk (Flames), Claude Giroux (Flyers) and Ben Chiarot (Montreal Canadiens), here's everything the Panthers had to give up in Calgary, Philadelphia and Montreal.
Here is the complete list.
IN:
Matthew Tkachuk
20 games of Chiarot and Giroux
OUT:
- Jonathan Huberdeau
- MacKenzie Weegar
- Former Top 10 pick (Owen Tippett)
- 1st round pick (2023)
- 1st round pick (2024)
- 1st round pick (2025)
- Possible 1st round pick (2026)
- 3rd round pick (2024)
- Two young prospects You can guess that this is a very big gamble on their part. They've completely emptied their bank of picks and hopefuls.(or almost)
