The Montreal Canadiens surprised many in the sports world today with the appointment of Chantal Machabée as vice-president of communications. This news has been circulating on social networks since this morning and it is very well received by the majority of amateurs.
Of course, the person concerned has received several messages congratulating her on her new position, which, let us say, is well deserved. Yet, among the messages Chantal received, one of them came from former Habs captain, Max Pacioretty.
Pacioretty has been a member of the Golden Knights for four years now, but he has worked alongside the RDS journalist who covered CH activities during his ten seasons in Montreal. He did not hesitate to congratulate Chantal following the announcement of this news. A very nice gesture from the former number 67 of the Habs!
