The selection of Juraj Slafkovsky by the Montreal Canadiens with the first overall pick in the 2022 NHL draft took many fans by surprise.
In fact, it was the non-selection of Shane Wright that surprised many, including many fans who showed up at the Bell Centre with their Shane Wright jersey in CH colors.
This resulted in a few entertaining scenes that are making the rounds on the web, including this one:
