The Montreal Canadiens suffered their 19th loss in 25 games, which is totally unacceptable. Fans are disgusted as they witness such an atrocious spectacle. In fact, with a few minutes left in the third period, a fan pitched his jersey on the ice in protest.
Yes, yes. The gentleman in question, who contacted 98.5 Sports after the game, wanted to send a clear message to this failing organization. The train has gone completely off the tracks, the product is crap, and then the fans pay monstrous prices for tickets and beer.
Nick Suzuki was stunned by this gesture since the jersey in question was one of his own (according to him). The message was obviously not directed at him, but at the whole group.
In short, this gesture sends a VERY strong message to the Blue-White-Red organization. Seriously, Jeff Gorton has his work cut out for him to get this tasteless club back on track.
