Jeff Gorton and Geoff Molson have fewer than 10 candidates on their final list for the position of General Manager of the Montreal Canadiens. The biggest absentee, in my opinion and Grant McCagg's, remains André Tourigny, who has all the assets to take on this role.

The «Bear», who currently runs the Arizona Coyotes, should have been among the finalists for Gorton and Molson, especially with the resume he has. A resume bigger than some finalists of the two men... In the QMJHL, his journey was exceptional, same in the OHL and his journey with the Canadian program at the international level.

Even if he has just begun his reign with an NHL team, who cares, it is a guy from home who could bring a whole culture to the team. Have you seen the Coyotes play? They are bad because of a blatant lack of talent, but the Tourigny culture is well established.

Can you explain to me the reasons for his absence among the eight finalists, a guy from back home who is bursting with talent, who expresses himself well and who has ALL the skills to play the role of CEO of the Habs? I don't understand... Thank you!
