A monster trade offer involving Jack Eichel has just been revealed by Elliotte Friedman
As you know, we saw a huge transaction a few months ago when Jack Eichel went from the Buffalo Sabres to the Vegas Golden Knights.
In return the Sabres finally got their hands on : Peyton Krebs, Alex Tuch, a first round pick in 2022 and a third round pick in 2023.

Most notably, Sportsnet's renowned Elliotte Friedman revealed a little bombshell.
Friedman added that the Ducks were extremely interested despite everything to acquire Eichel, and if it were not for this famous upcoming surgery, a monster trade could have been concluded between Anaheim and Buffalo.

The Sabres' demand for Jack Eichel in Anaheim was: Trevor Zegras, Jamie Drysdale and two first round picks.
Anaheim wasn't going to make the trade, not under those conditions, and they look brilliant right now.
