With less than three weeks to go before the famous 2022 NHL Draft, there is growing speculation about which player will be selected first overall by Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens.
As reported by DansLesCoulisses.com, Jean Perron went ahead with a very interesting statement on the subject.
Shane Wright or Juraj Slafkovsky?
According to what a source told him, Jean Perron said that Simon Nemec's agent revealed that the Montreal Canadiens will select... Juraj Slafkovsky, with the first overall pick in the 2022 NHL draft.
Nemec should also be drafted very early, possibly top-5. He is Slovak.
Why would Nemec's agent know this? Good question! We can make the connection with Slovakia and their excellent relationship but well, you can judge this information.
According to the most recent official version, Kent Hughes said that the final choice of the CH organization was not yet made.
If Nemec's agent is telling the truth, we can expect Juraj Slafkovsky to become a Montreal Canadiens player in 16 days.
Would this be the right choice in your opinion?
