In a highly entertaining article on The Athletic, reporter Shayna Goldman analyzed some major trade proposals.
Trade proposals submitted by fans.
Prashanth Iyer helped to determine if the offer is good enough (in terms of value) and one suggestion in particular caught our eye.
According to the reporter, a trade to Montreal could make sense for Dubois, because unlike other NHL teams, the Canadiens wouldn't be afraid to lose Dubois to free agents.
"This deal also allows Montreal to trade Anderson, whose contract hasn't aged too well so far."
According to the advanced stats presented in the article, Winnipeg would come out of this deal with the best value, but the belief here seems to be that it is a feasible and realistic proposition.
Would you do it?
