Since last summer, Pierre-Luc Dubois' name has often been associated with the Canadiens.

As we know, Kent Hughes tried to acquire him during the draft held at the Bell Centre last July, but the Winnipeg Jets were quite greedy in their demands. In the end, the transaction did not happen.

However, Habs fans still believe that the team should acquire him. As reported by Keven Mawn, of Fanadiens.com, an intriguing proposal was suggested by an internet user.

Shaun Hashim would send forward Josh Anderson, along with Joshua Roy and a second round pick in the upcoming draft, in return for the Quebec forward.

Okay, I want to clarify, this is a speculation coming from an internet user. We are not talking about a real proposal that has been disclosed by an expert such as Darren Dreger or Elliotte Friedman.

But we can still give it a little attention. This could well represent what Kent Hughes will have to sacrifice to bring Pierre-Luc Dubois to Montreal.

We know that Josh Anderson could very well be on the trade market, but the internet user in question suggests the name of Joshua Roy to give some value to this proposal.

"Anyway, my ulterior motive with this tweet was to say that Roy could certainly be trade bait and I would sell high. I don't want to make the Poehling mistake again."

But if you ask me, I think it's possible that Pierre-Luc Dubois could join the Habs in the near future, but I'd put more money on him coming with the free agent market in the summer of 2024.

But I'm asking you the question anyway.

Personally, we wouldn't touch Roy at all.
