The Montreal Canadiens' new forward, Juraj Slafkovsky, freshly drafted first overall, is capable of being tough.
Despite playing against professionals and adults last season, Slafkovsky was able to step up physically and deliver solid checking.
At 6 foot 4 inches and 218 pounds, the young Slafkovsky has the physicality to hit hard (and he has the speed).
Today, a video has started to make the rounds on the web that perfectly demonstrates what the young Slovakian can bring to the table with his physical game:
It's impressive to see him apply such pressure on the front check, and the result is solid. A big check!
We can't wait to see him in action in a Red-White-Blue uniform, it's going to be great.
