We all know things aren't going well for the New York Islanders, who have yet to notch a win at home (granted, they spent the early part of the season on the road). Their record this year is 6-10-5.
The team led by the excellent Barry Trotz is in last place in the Metropolitan Division and 29th in the entire National Hockey League, only two points ahead of the Montreal Canadiens.
That being said, CM Punk, one of the most popular wrestlers in the world, took the opportunity to taunt Islanders fans at the UBS Arena for an AEW boxing event.
As a Hawks fanatic, "Punk" took the opportunity to hammer fans who are already on the ground, true to his role as a villain. He smeared and destroyed the Islanders, earning a ton of boos, of course!
Anyway, the Nashville Preds will be at the Isles' home tonight, starting at 7:30 p.m., so let's hope CM Punk's speech motivates Trotz' soldiers.
