On Monday night, the Washington Capitals were in Ottawa to battle the Senators. This very offensive game was won by the Caps with a score of 7-5.
Among the seven goals scored by the big red machine, Alex Ovechkin scored two, which became the 84th game with at least two goals on the road. The Russian surpassed Wayne Gretzky in the multi-goal road game category.
Ovi is making his mark on the imagination, as he is on a mission to surpass Wayne Gretzky as the all-time leading goal scorer in NHL history. "The Wonder" concluded his career with a total of 894 goals, which will be an arduous task for the number 8.
Regardless of whether he succeeds or not, Ovechkin remains the best goal scorer in National Hockey League history in the eyes of many. We're talking about a 36-year-old war machine who has no desire to slow down.
His start to the season has been nothing short of masterful!
A machine. Period.
