What a start to the season the young duo of Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield are having so far. The two players complement each other wonderfully on the ice and their offensive dynamism is delicious to watch.
Fortunately for the Habs, they still have a lot of good years ahead of them, which means the show is just beginning.
No doubt, with their excellent start to the season, the team's two young stars are currently making history for the Montreal Canadiens.
As my colleague Vincent Fournier of Let's Go Habs testifies, they are among the most productive young player duos (23 and under) in the club's history. For a franchise with over 100 years of history, that's frankly impressive.
They join the duos of Stephane Richer and Kjell Dhalin in 1985-1986, and Aurel Joliat and Howie Morenz in 1924-1925, for the under-23 duos to score 12 or more points in their first 11 games of the season.
The future is bright in Montreal!
