Last night, on the program L'Antichambre, after the game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Detroit Red Wings, RDS analyst Gaston Therrien mentioned this:

"I think Martin St. Louis needs to make some adjustments. He hasn't played Slafkovsky, yet, and he had said he was going to adjust. [He's having a hard time getting him ice time. [...] If he can't play him, he can't keep dragging him along. You can't be afraid to send him to Laval.

I think that at 9:34 (his playing time in yesterday's game), he won't learn anything. I don't like this way of proceeding with a youngster.

Do you agree with his words and this warning to Martin St-Louis?

He points out that Martin did not respect what he had said on Wednesday night, which was to find a way to make Juraj Slafkovsky play more.

Remember that the number 20 played for 10 minutes and 34 seconds against the Toronto Maple Leafs, and he played for 9 minutes and 37 seconds yesterday in Detroit.

Thus, one action is claimed by the expert: send Juraj Slafkovsky to Laval. He is not the only analyst to have made this request.
